About Jessie

Jessie Vogel is a mixed media sculptor and installation artist focusing on the visual grammar of materials. Her work is autobiographical, using her immediate experiences as a way to inform her constructions. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Jessie received her BFA in 2008 from Wake Forest University and her MFA in sculpture from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2012. Jessie participated in several artists in residency programs, including the Joan Mitchell Center in New Orleans. Her work has been exhibited throughout the U.S. and abroad.
